Teams Qualified for M7

The M7 World Championship is scheduled for January 2026, with the final stage to be held in Jakarta, Indonesia.
As of the latest information, two Indonesian teams have secured their spots from the MPL-Indonesia region:

  • ONIC Esports – Champions of MPL Indonesia Season 16.
  • Alter Ego Esports – Runner-up of MPL Indonesia Season 16 and thus the second Indonesian representative.

These two teams will represent Indonesia on home soil at M7, reinforcing Indonesia’s strong presence in the MLBB global esports scene.

For Indonesia

Having two representatives from Indonesia is significant, especially with the tournament being hosted in Jakarta. This offers a home-crowd advantage and inspires local fans and players.

For the Teams

Both ONIC Esports and Alter Ego now have the responsibility of not just representing their region, but of aiming for international glory. Their qualification means they now prepare for higher stakes: global opponents, wider viewership, and the world-championship spotlight.

For the Event

With M7 being held in Indonesia, the local visibility of MLBB esports is elevated. The qualification of top local teams adds narrative and excitement to the tournament.

Slot Allocations & Qualification Summary

  • The M7 main event will feature 16 teams in the main stage.
  • The regional slot breakdown is as follows:
    • 2 slots each: Indonesia, Philippines, Malaysia.
    • 1 slot each: Myanmar, China, EECA (Eastern Europe & Central Asia), MENA (Middle East & North Africa), Turkey, Latin America (LATAM), Singapore, Cambodia.
    • Additional: 8 teams will compete in a Wildcard stage, from which 2 teams will advance to the main event.
    • The slot allocation has been revealed by Moonton Games: Two slots each for Indonesia, Philippines, Malaysia; one slot each for Myanmar, China, EECA, MENA, Turkey, LATAM, Singapore, Cambodia; plus two wildcard-slots.
